Copy: I traded Al Kaline and six other Detroit Tiger baseball cards for her when I was a kid. But Mom hated dogs, so Cleo and I had to part. Years later, a college counselor said I could overcome the childhood loss by becoming an ad writer and winning some kind of award. Maybe I'll bring you a Cleo someday. But, I promise, no dogs.
